In this final stretch of Romans, Paul looks at how the grace of God transforms how we live our everyday lives. John Calvin famously wrote, “It is, therefore, faith alone which justifies, and yet the faith which justifies is not alone” since it leads to a new way of living. Believing the Gospel by faith not only transfers us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light, but it also transforms how we live as citizens and saints in this new kingdom.
