WHAT TIME DOES THE CONFERENCE START ON FRIDAY?
Registrations open at 3pm and the first session starts at 5pm
WHAT TIME DOES EACH DAY START AND END?
The Conference will start 5pm and will end at 9pm on Friday 21st February. The Conference will end at 8:30pm on Saturday 22nd February
WHERE WILL I BE SLEEPING IF I CHOOSE THE ACCOMMODATION OPTION?
The girls will be sleeping in rooms and tented areas on site, separate from the boys. And they will have 20 adult female leaders staying alongside them to oversee and look after the girls.
The guys will be sleeping in already set up tents on site, separate from the girls. And they will have 20 adult male leaders staying alongside them to oversee and look after the boys.
There are separate showers and toilets for boys and girls
For added safety there is a 24 hour security guard on site.
WILL THERE BE ANY TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS?
Transport will be provided by One Life Church from One Life Woodstock Site to Durbanville Site only on Friday afternoon. Transport will depart for Durbanville Site between 2pm-4pm to drop off teenagers.
(All teens please be collected from Durbanville Site on Saturday night from 8:30pm.)
WHAT DO I NEED TO PACK?
Clothes for 2 days
Bedding (Mattress, pillow, blanket/sleeping bag)
Toiletries, Towel
Bible + Notebook + Pen
Clothes that can get dirty
Water bottle
DO I NEED TO BRING CUTLERY & CROCKERY?
All meals and cutlery and crockery will be provided for you
For those of you who don’t know what One Conference is, let me give you some insight!It is a youth Conference where Highschoolers between the ages of 12 and 19 from across the Cape get together to Worship Jesus, sit under the Word, have loads of fun, and Make many new friends!
It’s The best 24 hours for a parent. If you live close by, you drop them off between 3pm-5pm on Friday. And pick them up again between 9pm & 10pm!
You feed them breakfast at home on Saturday morning, and then drop them off for the day at 8:30am.
They get tea, lunch and supper on Saturday. There is also a tuckshop on site. And then you can collect them between 8:30pm & 9:30pm!
If you live out of town. you drop them off between 3pm-5pm on Friday to register and find their accommodation.
And then you can collect them on Saturday night between 8:30pm & 9:30pm!
They get Supper on Friday night. Breakfast, tea, lunch and supper on Saturday. There is also a tuckshop on site.
