Hello One Life Church
The highlight of every year for us has got to be our Leaders Summit, 25th & 26th of January.
Some of you are saying right now, ‘I’m not really a leader.’ Oh yes you are!
If you are a believer in Jesus, you have been called to lead yourself, your family, lead in the marketplace and take people on a journey with you. All our leaders will be there, all our deacons will be there; everyone who is leading anything pitches up to Leaders Summit. There will be more than 1000 people at the South Site this coming friday night. Registration opens at 17:00 and at 18:00 the session starts.
I would like to speak to you if you ordinarily wouldn’t consider yourself as one of our ‘leaders’. I am inviting you to come because what we do at a Leaders Summit is we hear what God is going to do amongst us collectively as a church, equipping you to help you in your call to lead. It really gets us all on the same page.
I would love to see you there. If you’re young or at school come along, because at the end of our evening session on Friday we are doing another hour for teenagers – focusing on schools, connect groups and teenage leadership. If you have a teenage kid, bring them along! You might say, “Woah he’s not on leadership yet.” He could be and he should see where we’re headed.
On Saturday Leaders Summit starts at 14:00 and that afternoon session is going to be anchored by Paul Collinson, a preacher from Australia. He’s a phenomenal speaker who runs a great church. We will be unveiling a whole lot of new things that God is doing with us collectively and, in addition, a whole lot of other churches will be attending by beaming in to our conference.
I believe it’s going to be a Leaders Summit like we’ve never had before. Bring your kids along, there is Uptown and childcare, so you don’t have to find childminders. There is food on sale and there is zero cost for the conference.
Our number one goal is to get everyone who’s in the heart of the church to get there, in order to get on the same page.
We would love to see you there!
