About One Life Church:

One Life Church is a non-denominational multisite church that relates to N.C.M.I (New Covenant Ministries International). One Life Church is based in Pietermaritzburg but meets in locations all over Kwazulu-Natal, including Durban and Dundee. We believe that we are called to love God, to love people and make disciples of all nations. It is also our firm belief that we are called to raise up and develop leaders in the Church.

Our History

One Life Church was planted in 1974 with the name UAFC. Three years later the name was changed to Victoria Road Tabernacle. In 1983 three churches merged with Victoria Road Tabernacle which lead to a new name: New Covenant Fellowship to signify a new beginning. This name had a deep meaning for us because it signaled a new start. It reflected the fellowship of four separate churches uniting together. It also spoke of our intent to follow a New Testament or New Covenant pattern to how we did church. This name served us admirably for 17 years. It saw the church grow to close on a thousand people and it facilitated a relationship with other churches, within the NCMI apostolic movement, who had similar convictions to us.
